Being a new parent or with a growing family is a transition which is exciting but at the same time can also be very challenging. Trying to cope after having a difficult birth, sleep deprivation, a loss of identity and feeling low are just some of the issues parents can face. Perhaps everyone else appears to be coping really well so finding it more difficult comes with feelings of guilt or shame. Achieve My Goals…Be More Confident and Self-Assured…Feel More In Control…Feel Good About My Self…Move Forward In My Life…These are just a few of the ‘wants’ which people have but can’t seem to reach. This is because it’s not easy to change they way we think, feel and subsequently behave. But I believe with hypnosis and hypnotherapy you can achieve whatever you want and make that change! But you have to go deep within yourself as this is where your inner thoughts and feelings lie which can be extremely limiting and of which can prevent you from moving forward in your life in some way. Life has a way of hypnotising us by creating limiting beliefs and picking up habits, fears and anxieties along the way through the experiences we are exposed to. Surprisingly, what I do through hypnosis and hypnotherapy is de-hypnotise people so that they can release those limiting beliefs, anxieties and fears in order to have the happy and fulfilled life they want.

I felt at ease, relaxed, confident and trusting in what Anne was saying and teaching. I liked the different media techniques, handouts mixed with projector and visual aids.
I thoroughly enjoyed that Anne had her own midwifery background to add to the course which I think helped to gain such confidence immediately. The setting for the course was fantastic too.
I was able to have the relaxed and natural birth I had planned - in the water and with only gas and air towards the very end. The hypnobirthing course and the various relaxation techniques you shared proved invaluable both in the lead up and on the day, not sure how I would have coped without it.
Once I had passed a certain stage I knew I could do it without pain relief. I did ask for pain relief options but then thought, 'No, I have prepared for this and I'm ready'. I was determined, positive and trusted my body to birth Lara. I used the feather visualisation mostly, trying to blow it across the room. Thank you for helping me realise that my body is capable of such wonderful things.
We really enjoyed the course, and even though it will be my second time giving birth, I am really glad we were able to do the Hypnobirthing course. It made me feel a lot more calm and confident!

Our sessions with you definitely proved helpful in controlling Alex's breathing and, in particular, putting the brakes on at the crowning stage. Alex was amazing and we are all super chuffed with our new arrival!
